We live in MN and may be selling our boat soon. We had it winterized in October (we live in MN) and it's stored inside our insulated - but not heated - garage. Is it ok to start up the boat so a prospective buyer can have confidence the engine runs fine?

Sure, but the engine should be re-winterized.

Concur, it is no different than starting your car but it will have to be rewinterized, I don't think you are quite done with winter yet in Minnesota.
