Hey all. Before I start - model # 4W75A,Serial # C19963.
Okay today I had her fire up on the 3 pull,and run real good {high speed}
for as long as I wanted it to run.Later on I went out and she started right up
2 pull, I went to see how {low speed}was runin and could'nt get it to tune in
very well at all, and it shut down on me, and now I pulled 20 x and not wanting to start. Do I need to get a new start up kit ? Somethings telling me that spark isn't happening constantly. I checked plugs,they seem fine {not fouled} I spoke to the man who had it before me, and he said he had just done a
carb rebuild on it.That explains why everything looks pretty good in that department.When I had taken it apart there was no signs of varnish,or anything, pretty spotless ,other than a few specks of dirt. The only thing I can think of now is, it's not getting constant spark.:confused:

The only thing I can think of now is troubleshoot, Watertimes.

How many times have you posted this problem?? Seems to me I have seen it before, given you good advice and had it ignored. Maybe I am wrong.

Go to the Engine FAQs. Do the troubleshooting in "Outboard won't start" and tell us what you find.
