old black max trim question

so i have an old 175 hp black max which was not origional to the boat and it looks like the trim pump and motor was left over from the old setup. the old black max just goes up and down slow - no trailering or second speed option that i can see just 2 rams. the old pump just has an in and out line and altho it has a plethora of wires only 3 are hooked up. so anyway - the trim pump motor is going out - it'll quit for a minute from time to time and a good smack with a 13/16 wrench will persuade it to keep going. so i want to replace the motor and pump- i cant find anything like what is on it even when i search by part number- and besides that i dont really want to use something that old again. so im looking at regular mercury pumps. i dont know much about these older setups and i was wondering if anyone could tell me if this trim pump would work. i dont see any reason it wont, but some one more experienced might know something i dont.

Does yours have four hoses coming off a block or manifold type thingy going ta tha clyinders and two hoses feeding tha block from tha pump? If it does, it might/might not work. Don't know of anyone that has tried that before.
May have that trim at tha shop. If tha fittings are ths same as tha newer model pump I'll hook it up and see what happens. Gimme a day or two.....

only 2 hoses. one push and one pull - twin ram system one up one down.. at least i think
