Hello guys,
I have a OLD (never used) Bronze Michigan Prop with 15 splines. The number stamped inside the hub is SMC 230. Writing on the prop (grease Pencil) reads 13X17 and 2850384. The Prop was my Grandfathers and he ran both Johnsons and the old in-line 6 cylinder 115 Mercury so I'm not quite sure which motor be bought this for. I searched on Michigan Prop but had no luck. I believe it is Bronze or copper if such a thing, as it is bronze in color and heavy as h*ll.
I am wondering is anyone can tell me a little bit about this prop, OMC or Mercury and if it's worth anything as I trying clear out the garage of some "stuff".

If it's worth it I'll put it on ebay.

Thanks
Nick d:)

The 3rd digit on MWC props is the material and how the blade is designed...it's bronze and is cupped(#5). I don't have the info to tell you which engine it fits, but if you could post a pic of the aft end of the hub, I think I could tell.
