After taking a closer look at some of these new campaign signs, they turn-out to be a corogated plastic material called "coroplast" (no shock there). The plastic sandwich is remarkably sturdy, light wieght, waterproof, tho not uv resistant (so I'm told, but can be painted). It dawned on me that this stuff may be just the material for building boat bolsters out of.They won't rot! It's about half the price of marine grade plywood of the same thickness.I'm looking for input pro or con. I know it would be a miracle if anyone has attempted it's usage in a boat yet, but give me your thoughts as to why it would or would NOT make a great bolster, battery box, electronics box material.<br />I'm going for it, but have some trepidations.
