I need to get this thing dated. If you can help it woud be appreciated. The only number that I can find is 1J142386 I also need the recomended spark plug. Thanks, Phil

That's a 1946-47 1 cylinder rated a 4.2 hp. Good motors. Plug is a Champion D16, replaced the Champion 7 plug.
