I just got an old Elgin motor at an auction. I needed to clean out the entire fuel system and carb, and cleaned the points. It fired right up. The motor is almost 100% original including the spark plug. I went to a lake to run it and adjust the carb. It ran fine, but was getting hot (water cooled). I think the water pump might have gone bad. Can anyone tell me where is and how to fix the water pump?
