I have a Merc 1991 Black Max V6 135 hp engine that I am no longer using. The swivel shaft is nearly eroded through after years of salt water running.
The powerhead is fine. Never a problem and pulls competant slalom skiers.
The lower unit was replaced with a rebuilt Alpha Unit, 2 seasons ago.
I have since bought a used engine and now have to come to grips with what I will do with this 135.
Any ideas where or how to resell the copmponents...the power head and the lower unit or should I just junk them.
If it had not rusted through, I'd be using this engine today!
