old evenrude 1935?

I have a older evenrude motor running but it has a broken prop can props be repaired<br />I need information on the motor number on side of head is 200570 also serial number 4412 50830 with some manufacturing pattents of 1.785.069 and a year of 1935. I mix the gas at 50 to 1 any ideas as to correct age horsepower etc

Serial number 4412 is a 2 HP engine made in 1946.<br /><br />/Bear

Yes props can be repaired..Find a prop shop via the internet or one locally. Good luck.<br /><br />Buy the way dont spend too much money on her..She aint worth much..sorry

It's a collectable motor. I'm looking for a good 1953 restorable outboard in the 10-15HP range myself.<br />But it will have to be in my dreams for now.

normanc<br /><br />You might want to be mixing 24:1 on your premix. She'll run hot at 50:1 (under-lubing the crank)and a lot less life...<br /><br />just a thought...... :)
