I'm trying to find out the year of an old Evinrude 18hp outboard I recently purchased. The id plate on the motor has two stamped numbers. One is 15036M and the other is 03843. I cannot read what these numbers are. The guy I bought it from said he thought it was a 1958 model. Tried to verify on evinrude.com but had no luck. Thaks for any information.
