I just acquired a couple motors which I know nothing about and was wondering if anyone could help me identify them. Also a ballpark estimate of what their worth would be great. I have not started them but they all have compression and turn over freely.
Evinrude 4383-04230 complete
Evinrude 7516-27984 complete
Evinrude 4383-04230 missing lower unit
I tried looking these up but could find no information on them. They all appear to be in average to above average condition. Here is a link to the pictures. http://s93.photobucket.com/albums/l49/joekle/

Thanks for all your help

Re: Old Evinrude help

4383-04230 is a 1946 Light Four 9.7hp
7516- is a 1954 Fleetwin 7.5hp
4383-04230---That is the same serial number as you previously listed. Can't be the same 2x. Recheck it and come back.

None are worth more than 250 to $300 running, 100 max if not. The incomplete is worth maybe 75.
