old fuel

Hi all, wasnt sure where to put this post but i seen alot of you are from washington state as i am, the question today is does anyone know where or who to call to take to old fuel the boat is full and the fuel is about 3years old and i believe its why my volvo AQ120B wont idle and its the last thing to try as ive done eveything you all have said to try lol my greed of a full tank has got me stuck in the drive way:redface: lol
sooooo if any of my fellow washintonians know where to go or call many thanks!!

Get all your friends together with their mowers, chainsaws and what not and pump it out into them. They will probably be glad to give you a few bucks for it.

Ayuh,... Have you Checked it,..?? Does it pass the Smell Test,...
If it Smells like Gasoline,... I'd burn it....
Just keep a spare Filter around...

hiya, the fuel smells old 1/2 gas and 1/2 varnish lol and i dont have enough friends to get rid of 30 gal lol ill do what ya said and run it with an extra filter it runs fine just above idle so why not ill also bring my son with me so he can row us back to to the dock lol :D

I don't know about in vancouver but METRO runs two recycling stations in Portland that would take the fuel...I think.

i will look them up in the am, do you know if they will pump it too or will i have to take it in jerry cans?

If it runs with it just run the lot through , thats what i would do treat it as a free boat day ..:)
