I have what I believe is a really old gas can that I would like to know what it may be worth. I have attached a picture and a model number. If someone could help me identify it I would appreciate it. I also need a cap for it If someone has one or knows where I could get one. Model #376986

it looks very much like an omc pressure tank, probably mid 1950's, worth about $75 dollars if you find a cap and the fresh paint isnt hiding anything.

you'll probably have to spend the 75 on ebay, to get a tank to get a cap. you will also need the lines and the female dual line connector. plus make sure the tank will hold pressure or just sell it as is for whatever you can get. if you are real lucky, you might find a rusted out tank with cap, lines and connecter on ebay or craigs list.

Twin hose is available right here, I believe. The 3 pin connector is pricey but can be rebuilt.

however it goes, yer not sitting on a goldmine! (most potential buyers would rather see it as it was before the new paint). maybe look for a 50's motor and use the tank!
