old johnson 5 1/2 carb settings

I have an old 5 1/2 horse Johnson Model CD-13A, serial # 1386592, that I have had for many years that I received from my uncle. It hasn't been run in quite awhile, and I would like to know the initial carb settings and fuel/oil mixture if possible. I also need the point gap, I have new plugs, C6J's and tried to fire it up with a 24/1 mix gas but only got one sputter. Thanks for your help in advance, I would like to keep this old warrior running for many more years!!!
