I have an old Johnson outboard motor...I would guess its about 3hp. The model # is JW-13 and serial # is 1653290. It was made in Waukegon, Illinois. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated. I will be needing to replace some parts so any help in that matter would be great.

--Starticus

Hey Starticus....

Most common parts for your engine, ignition coils, points, condensers, water pump impeller, carb kits, are still available from your Johnny/Rude dealer. Just take the model number with ya' and tell them what ya' need. Also, if you haven't got one yet, a service manual is a must. Generics are available from iboats store and reprints of the originals may be available from Ken Cook Company. Most guys prefer the OEM manuals for a specific engine. Good Luck!
