Looking for a Ray Jefferson L-100 loran set manual. I've searched Google, Vivisimo, and DogPile. Found Kenneke, Sarrio, Sam's, and W7AFG. No luck at those.

Assuming I may not be able to find one:

I'm guessing the L-100 is similar in keypad function, etc, to the PL-99 (nice little hand-held loran Ray Jeff made). I can get a manual for the PL-99. Wonder if it would be close enough to make it worth it?

I have one on hand. I can copy it if you like. I also have an L100 sitting gahering dust if you need parts or replacement. Send reply to DangerDan60@aol.com

Why would you want a Loran and/or its manual?

Re: old loran question

Well I must be thick cause I read those links and still don't get it - yeah, Loran was/is known for its repeatability, but the first article seems to be comparing it to GPS with SA enabled and/or without WAAS, which is no longer the case. And yes you might want to keep a Loran to get you precisely back to a bunch of points you recorded
(but only with that specific Loran, the article says).

So why would the taxpayers want to keep both system going?
