please help,<br />i inherited an old mercury that was owned by my wifes grandfather. i was told it has been sitting for about 25 years. i believe it is a '56 or '57<br />year model but no one knows for sure. can anyone tell me? it has "KIEKHAEFER MERCURY" on the front insignia and powered by "HURICANE" engine on the side (below the "MERCURY"). model= MARK 25 and<br />serial# 1046232.<br />i have gotten it running (quite well actually) but i want to restore it (the complete motor is there and there is no chips or dings anywhere). can anyone tell me where i can find parts ?<br />i know it older because i have had '60's era motors but this on looks older. the covers all bolt on instead of clip-on.

thanks<br />i found the only flaw (besides paint) while i had it running i noticed a drip of water every few seconds from the rear of the engine and traced it back to a broken head bolt. i'll need to remove the head and before i tackle it i want to be sure i can get the parts.
