I have an old (1972) Astrocraft fishing boat with morse stick steering. I need to replace the cable but can't find any info on morse replacement. the cable is 11 feet (jacketed part) and is red. I couldn't find any info or lettering on the jacket part of the cable and only found the word morse on the helm. I really don't want (cant afford) to go with a full replacement. I was wondering if the teleflex rotary cable would work, when disassembled, they look very similar. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
