I have an old '61 johnson 18 hp sea horse. It is leaking some oil out one of the drain holes. I'm assuming it is unburnt gas and oil. Is there anything I can do about it since so old. The oil looks a little dark for my liking. Looks a little more like regular motor oil. I just had it looked at by a shop that does auto and marine so I'm not positive he used marine oil. Thanks for the help

If it's coming from a drain screw, then it is likely lower unit oil and you need to either tighten the screw or replace the gasket underneath.

quite normal for a two stroke ob to have drips from unburnt fuel/oil. if you are concerned that its gear oil, drain it and inspect. refill with new and be sure to replace the crush washers with new ones.
