old motor renew

I have a few questions.
I have a small 1966 Johnson outboard motor which I tore out the old foam in the hood. What is the best material to replace that with?
Also, is there somehwere that I can get decals to match the originals on that motor?

Ebay for decals. Foam's not really necessary, but I'd check with custom furniture shops.
