My 1947 5hp. Sea King doesn't seem to be getting water into the engine, I can see water drops at the top of the leg so I think water is getting up to there.I tried to blow out the passages with compressed air, it's hard to tell if they are clear.I am sure the passages in the leg are clear, I had it apart. The impeller is the type on the prop shaft, and it seems o.k.(as far as I can tell, I'm a novice). I was told that a leaking head gasket would prevent water from reaching the engine. I don't see water coming from engine, and it is running very hot. What should I try now? Thank You, Tom

Re: old SeaKing cooling problems

try soaking the old impeller in hot parafin to make it swell up, or just replace it. there's a link to impellers here:<br />www.pfs-ware.com
