old shetland 535 suntrip what size shaft?

hello everybody

i've just got myself a really good old shetland 535 suntrip and i'm confussed as to what size outboard shaft i need, i've been look on google and 50% says its short shaft 50% says its long shaft, even on the sheland website it says short shaft, my transome messures 20inches, i'm thinking i need a long shaft, but shetland 535's own web site says the suntrip has a short shaft, what do you guys think, am i just being stupid?http://forums.iboats.com/images/smilies/confused.gif

If the Transom is 20" then a long shaft Motor is required.
