Does anyone know if there is a factory POC to get info. on older Starcraft models? I have a 73? 21' Mariner and am planning a restorification much like a few other guys have done on here. Which I must say have given me the impetous and an idea of what I'm getting in to. I'm probably the third or later owner of this boat. I'd like to see if there are any factor notes, line drawings, specs., etc. available. Mostly interested in measurements of the original console, my current one is pretty much beyond simple repairs/repaint and it was not the factory console as best I can tell. Hull is in relatively great shape, but decks are do for a replacement.

I'll go back through the prior threads for more pics/tips/do's and dont's, but I'm just a fan of having "stock data" as a back-up/reference.

I tried calling out to Starcraft once about a month or two ago, but no answer. Not sure if number I found on the web was valid.

THANKS!

Many of us have tried what you did with the same outcome. This site is the best for info on older SCs. Pictures of older intact boats, helpful owners, brochures, can help you restore your console. Finding detailed drawings of any of our boats would be a goldmine of info. Good luck.

benemack - Mariner's are great boats. And yea there isn't much information floating around.

The brochure thread in the Starcraft section shows some information, HA's sticky on top of page.

We have a 1984 - 21' original layout, link in my signature. There are a few pics on the 1st page that might give you a few ideas. All covered up for winter, but in a couple months I could get some dimensions and pics if your still interested.

Good luck on your project.:)
