old tide craft??

i went and looked at an old tide craft with a mercury 90 hp on it for a new project boat. its a stick steer which i dont really like. could i convert it and put a console in it with a rotary steering system?

this boat seems i little over powered to me. its about 15 ft long and not even 4 ft wide.

does anyone have any info on these boats?

it's way over powered. i have had 3 stick steers and really liked them.

do stick steer boats plane very well? ive never seen one on plane.
