I recently purchased an old (?) PFLUEGER PHANTOM trolling motor at an estate sale. It is an M.2 serial number 106002.......Does anyone have any info concerning this unit. The top is almost round but slightly oblong...a single toggle switch for high/off/low and the instruction to run only when sumerged.
Thanks for any info you guys might offer............

I think you will have better luck in the electronics/trolling motors forum.

Re: Old? trolling motor

I have what sounds like the same motor, I got it from an older gentleman that seemed to think he bought it in or about 1954. Mine is all Chrome and has a tiny aluminum prop. It has a toggle on and off and a wedge shaped direction switch. The switch panel has a red foil decal. Keep in mind that most batteries back then were 6volt too. Mine does not state 6 or 12 volts, if it is 1954, I would suspect it may have been meant for 6 volts? The first 12 volt cars were 1955/56 model year, I'm not sure about trolling motors and marine applications.
