I have a 1993 boat with somevery gaudy graphics I would like to remove, then polish out tbe hull and deck. What is the best way to get the old vinyl to come loose?

Chemical stripper?
Heat gun and plastic putty knife?
Foul language?

Thanks

Gil

I used a torch to bubble the plastic(don't keep it in the same spot long) and picked, peeled, cussed. that was on fiberglass, what is youre boat made of?

Sorry, I meant to say it was fiberglass. Going to try a heat gun and a plastic scraper but itseemslike it will take forever and a day!

Oven Cleaner! I used it on my boat a few yrs. ago from advice on this forum to get "Stumpjumper 2" in big bold letters completely off!
No damage whatsoever!
