over the last 3 years i have tried to restore 3 boats from 14' to 20' at the time i buy a boat i am sure that i have made the deal of my life. until i start on the restoration project. when the nice wraping comes off and all you find is rotten stringers transom ete. And the cost of materals go up you wounder if it might be better to junk it. But I do belive if a person can find a good and cheep way to replace the floor and transom . the boating world will beat a path to your door. and more people will restore the old ,as i think the 20 and 30 year boats are as good as the new ones
So I have tryed different ways my latest is useing plastic stringers and a one off form plastic floor . so far it has worked out cheep i plan to foam then take it to the sea and pull the bung let it sit under water for a few hours then see how the new floor will hold up. their has to be a way
