I have an older 25 HP Chrysler outboard motor that hasn't been used in two years. Nothing was done when it was put away. I have 2 questions. 1st: Is there anything I should do, (other starting with fresh gas and oil) when I first start it back up?
2nd: What is the proper oil/gas mixture. Thanks!

In addition to what Norman said, drain the carb bowl.Remove the plugs, and shoot a 1 second burst of WD40 in the holes. This will keep the rings (which have sat in one place for 8 years),from sticking and breaking, or otherwise scoring the jug.
Good luck
