Replaced the points and condenser, then set the points because there is no spark. Got a little shock from the wire but still not getting spark even after all the replacements. Not sure if it’s because of the “Stop,Start,Fast” handle position or what. Any thoughts?

You have a model number so we know what your playing with? Should start 217- from the look of the pics. Looks like wrong plug should be a J13Y gapped at .30. Ohm test your ignition coil. The small motors used the J8 like the 1-2.5hp

This is pretty much all I could find as far as numbers.

Have you rotated the shaft to see if they are opening? Dumb question but had to ask. Ohm test the coil.
