Guys n Girls,

I noticed that all of the online parts catalogs stop at 1968. I have a 1966 Johnson Seahorse 60 (VXL-12R). I also have the 1966 Parts Catalog. If I look up an item online for 1968 and it has the same part number, should that fit my 1966? Or if anyone has a better place I might check? I need to replace the bolt that secures the two lower unit pieces together, one is broken, but I figured I would replace both just to be safe/ plus I need a new bearing and seat for the propeller shaft and seal/oring kit if made. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Robert

Re: Older Johnson Parts

If the part numbers are the same it is the correct part.
Maybe this site will help.
http://www.marineengine.com/
Once you figure out how to use the site, they have alot of info for older engines.
