older mercury motors

Im looking for a website that has older mercury inline six motors that i can look at. im trying to decide what i want to put on my boat. i love the look of the older inline six thunderbolt motors. the motor that is on it is a 150hp merc. not sure if i want to go that big again its only a 16ft. boat but still rated for a 150. im looking for a 115 - 150.

Oh man bad bad news.......... ALL the inline 6 cylinder engines look the same from a 90 hp all the way up. Only the sticker's chage....... and the cowling changed from year to year.

Someone posted the cowling colors from the early 1970s to the late 1980s for the inline sixes, in the Merc Forum.

I am partial to the '76 and '77 cowling colors (blue, silver, red)
Someone may remember where that post got to.
