Older Tilt Trim lines

Hey guys I have a 1968 Mercuiser 120 with a MC-1 outdrive. The tilt trim lines are bad on the starboard side and I am looking to replace them. There are 2 hoses on the ram and they enter the gimbal housing on the side and then snake around to the port side. My question is can I use brake lines to run from the ram to the box inside the gimbal housing or do I need to just buy new lines. If I have to buy new lines where can you get the older style lines at????

I would think you'd want to replace them with stainless lines, so perhaps you could find them here, if they are even available: http://www.mercruiserparts.com/SelectProductLine.asp
