Oliver 1959 model K. 16hp

Any information would be helpfull. It currently runs, although the fuel pump isn't performing and the carb is dirty. Is this motor worth it's weight in gold or scrap? It looks nearly new. I saw on an Oliver parts site that it may cost me a couple hundred to get it new fire, gaskets, and all the goodies.

It's worth more than scrap, but less than gold. Actually, the highest value probably is right now, as is, before you mess with it. There are guys that would like to find one.

These come up on e-bay sometimes and there is usually lots of bidding for these when available. The other thing that makes them more valuable is if you have the original Oliver Tenda Matic gas tank that came with them when new.
