OMC 1983 - POWER TRIM WIRE CONNECTION PROBLEMS

THE MOTOR IS A 1983 OMC SEA DRIVE /STERNDRIVE
MODEL: 2BBLCTR SERIAL: J78501
115 HP 2 STROKE.

FROM WHAT HUBBY IS SAYING... TRIM MOTOR HAS TWO WIRES -GREEN WIRE AND A BLUE WIRE, BLUE GOES ON POSITIVE AND GREEN ON NEGATIVE AND IT TRIMS UP, TAKE WIRES OFF THEN GREEN ON POSITIVE AND BLUE ON NEGATIVE AND IT TRIMS DOWN... HOW DO WE WIRE THE TRIM MOTOR TO WORK ? THE NEW SWITCH WE BOUGHT ALSO, HAS 3 WIRES ???

2 things.
As was mentioned in your earlier post, you DO NOT have a Sterndrive, it's called a Seadrive and as such should be posted in the Johnson Evenrude forum, not here on the IO forum.

And please don't type in all caps. It's hard to read and is considered Yelling on fourms.
