Having this issue for a few seasons now. Initial tart after motor seats for over a day or so is hard, takes about 2-3min cranking with shiftier lever set to high throttle. After it starts and runs for a minute it starts perfectly few cranks and it is running perfect on idle. Points all ignition parts and all filters have been maintained as well as timing set to spec...

SOunds to me you need to reset your choke. The choke plate should be closed down with a 1/8 inch gap at the top.

Did you pump the throttle 2 or 3 times prior to cranking?

If you did, the next time you go to start it, pull the spark arrestor, and have someone give it full throttle as you look down the carb. You should see fuel spraying into carb. If you do not, you have a fuel delivery issue
