OMC 2.5L questions?

Do these engines have a cast iron block and head? And... what cars used the same block? Is it the 153 c.i. that was only used in like the old Novas?

Cast iron they are,car engine they ain't.I have heard that JEEP put them in post offiice vehicles year ago,but that's it.

They're mostly made for boats, and industrial compressors and generators.

The Only Other motor that it can be Directly swapped with is it's sister the 3.0l.......

Which are the motors that DHP,+ Willy are talking about.........

Both of these motors share Absolutely Nothing with the rest of the 4cylinder motors GM has been building since about 1965........
