OMC 225 VRO Stalls after hot

I have a 1986 225HP VRO outboard. After running at half or full speed then stopping for half hour boat<br />restarts but has hard time getting pat idle speed.<br />Seems like to much gas ..after inching the trottle<br />forward get past the choking point then clears <br />out and runs fine??
