I have a 1993 OMC Cobra outdrive with a 3.0 l engine. After I did some spring maintenance on my boat I noticed that water was pouring out from the base of the outdrive. It appers to be coming from the bellows. My question is can I replace only the bellows or should I replace the exhaust and upper bellows with a kit?

Thanks

You probably saw water coming from the exhaust bellows. (It's normal)

OTOH, If you think you have a bad drive bellows, you should remove the drive and inspect the U-joints, yoke and check the alignment. (It's a good idea to do this even if you don't think it's leaking......it's the ONLY way to determine it if it is!!)

If you tilt the drive full up and look at the lower bellows (exhaust) they have slits in them for exhaust relief.
Like Rick said though, once a year drive pull and inspection is a good idea..:)
