I need to know if i can take all the guts out of this motor and find a chevy car or truck engine just for the block can i do this kind of swap looks like a chevy 4 cyl

Yea you can use that 140. You will have to change the riser and coupler.

Is it a good running motor?

Same block. Both marine. Why not?

Change out the flywheel maybe, or just see if the coupler switch over should.

Different riser, if old one good use it.

Should work no problem.

Just switch the motor and leave the bell housing alone.

I just took my 2.5 out.
