This is really crazy and I was wondering if any one else has had this problem. I have replaced about 20 sets of points in my day and never had this problem before. I put new points in my OMC 3.0 gaped them @ .019" NO START! Regaped, NO START! Regaped one more time, NO START! Put old points in, gaped @ .019" Started right up! Bought another set of points and the exact same thing happened!! I have never had bad points off the shelf before. The only differance between the new and old points is (GET THIS) the old set has a little pad with greese that rides on the cam and luberacates it. I know this has nothing to do with it BUT??? Strange Days Indeed!! Any one else heard of this?
