I have an 89 fourwinns with a cobra sterndrive, hooked up to a 3.0L omc engine. When I start it cold it starts right away and seems to idle perfect. When I first take it out she seems to stutter almost for the first initial throttle but after you open her up she seems to stop stuttering and runs fine. After you drive it for a while and it warms up the idle wont drop back down it sticks around 1 grand or a hair more. Which is getting to hard on the gears every time I shift it into forward. Also after heated up it is a pain to start. I have to hold It pretty much wide open to get it to start, any ideas?
