OMC 350 Mercruiser 350 swap?

HI,<br /> I have a good 350 OMC. Will this be an easy swap with my spent Mercruiser 350. Will the OMC bolt up to my Mercruiser outdrive or can I expect surprises? Will this be an easy swap? Is it even possible?

As long as you are changing like engines it shouldn't be a problem, (old style block to old style, or new to new style)<br />They are both Chevy 350's, so you will only have to change th things that are Mercruiser to the OMC. Such as bellhousing, coupler, exhaust, ignition setup (if Thunderbolt) shift mechanism etc.
