OMC 4.3 manifolds

I haven't had much luck locating these items. These are the one piece 'bat wing' style used with the OMC 4.3 liter V6 engines and Cobra drives in 1989.<br /><br />Replacement with the same would be easiest, if available.<br /><br />Alternatively, converting to a newer 2 piece style with a separate manifold and riser might be wise. Less concern about future availability for one thing and the 2 piece arrangement permits full closed system cooling, where the current ones don't.<br /><br />Anyone have recent success acquiring these?<br /><br />What additional plumbing do I need to reach the 'Y' exhaust pipe with a center rise style manifold and riser?<br /><br />Actual experiences and related comments are welcome.<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Bob

I got a set recently from www.dougrussell.com<br />they are pricey, 460 a pop!<br />I have heard of people converting to the 2 piece, you can use Volvo pieces to make it easy, but that was more expensive than using the OE ones because of all the extra parts you need. Maybe next time when there is no more oe. I heard GLM is releasing an aftermarket set in March but I don't know about their quality.

I Just saw a bunch of those in the Exhaust catagory at ebay.......... Tonite.........<br /><br />Didn't notice the Prices..........
