Sorry-I posted a similar request a few days ago, but I'm desperate!<br /><br />I've got an 81 OMC 800 (hydro-mech assisted shifting). I've pulled the lower shift cable and need to know how I can tell if it's bad in terms of cable wire movement. Should they move very easily or is some resistance to be expected?
