The new waterpump shaft the dealer installed in spring of 2003 started to wear just like the one I put in.The company looked at it, and admitted it was a problem but it's old and were not going to help you.SO I took the shaft to a machine shop and had them cut the splines down were the flat seal sits,and put 7/8 i.d. 1" o.d. o-ring on it to see if it would keep the water out and the grease in. <br /> I'll let you this fall what I find.<br /> <br /> I have three more options and I'm hoping we don't have to use them.<br /><br /> Butch
