Re: omc binicale instructions

were the cables on your boat already???

or did they come with the control???

have you carefully watched the action and movement of the cables at the motor while someone else manuvers the control???

that would go a long way to figureing out whats going on...

what control do you have?...got a picture?

I have two , one on the boat and a spare....both have been on my boat working, so if mine is like yours , i might be able to help walk you through...

Re: omc binicale instructions

the throttle on the motor is the same for reverse and forward!!!!!!!!!

if the throttle on the motor is moving after your motor goes into reverse...the control is not the culprit

you need to watch that the motor shifts into reverse in the first part of the throw of the control and there after the throttle starts to move...

the movement either forward or backwards on the control should be about the same, each way, before the throttle cable starts to move...

have you tried the boat in the water under power yet???
