I recently acquired a 1987 wellcraft classic with the OMC cobra 4.3. Motor runs great but prop won’t spin. I pulled the lower and the engine coupler looks good and the prop spins the driveshaft when the lower is removed. Before I removed the lower I put the boat in gear and it spun freely in both directions. The boat also shifts as it should so I’m kind of lost.
