OMC Cobra 5.0 V8

Hi having problems with above engine<br />Started fine but cuts out after 5 mins. Changed Distributer cap, rotar arm, and coil engine ran fine for 25 mins. following wekk now refuses to star with either very weak spark or no spark<br /><br />any ideas

Change points, adjust with a dwell meter.

not just points, a complete tune carb clean, gas filters change, sererater change and check and clean pick up tube and antisiphon valve.

Thanks Guys, <br /><br />no points to change, electronic (afterfit)i think or maybe original.<br /><br />removed the distributor module and replaced with a "loan" one this appears to have fiXed the issue. Least i hope so <br /><br />cheers
