'93 OMC Cobra 5.8L, (351 Ford engine) loses rpm/cuts out after 4000RPM. Runs fine 600-3000RPM. Can't figure out what to do. Here is a list of components addressed:<br />-changed coil, plugs, ignition control module<br />-changed cap roter<br />-checked throttle switch, shift switch, deadman switch.. all good<br /><br />Think there might be a leak in the fuel line/sucking air when maxing out.<br />Bought a pressure gage. Losing pressure when trying to exceed 4000 RPM. Going from 34 psi to 30.<br />Any suggestions as to what else I should be checking out or anyone else had this problem?<br /><br />*Also looking to find specs on high pressure pumps' PSI, and any info on the fuel return line regulator.<br /><br />Still searching these forums.<br />Thank-you for any advice.
