I can't speak for the 95 Cobra but I've been running Cobra's since 1990 and I'm on my 3rd boat with them. They got a lot of bad press mostly due to a poorly designed lower shift cable that was redesigned. Today there are still many out there and when adjusted properly are just as good as the Merc's. Parts are still available especially for the later ones as I believe they were really put together by the joint venture with Volvo.
